I’ve heard that securing a job with the United States Postal Service requires a passing grade on a big, long, grueling test. Having never taken the test, I don’t know what it entails. My guess would be that there is no reading and writing portion of the exam. Drum roll, please:
Ahhh, there’s the government, hard at work as usual!
I wonder how many times I’ve seen that typo and it never registered.
I’m not too sure those words (Leave If No Response) should be capitalised either. Is that right?
Unnecessary capitalization is one of my biggest pet peeves, but in this case I think it’s correct. Directly from the USPS website: “Carrier release endorsement: ‘Carrier—Leave If No Response’ below return address.” Given that it’s an official USPS endorsement, I’d be inclined to say the capitalization makes sense here.
Oh well, thank you. =)
